Having an Economics degree and 5 years of teaching experience, I have been able to break down the syllabus for all levels of students. Whether you are looking to achieve the top grade or improve and simply pass your exams, I have all the necessary resources available.
During the mathematics class we will be looking at the whole syllabus, to troubleshoot certain areas as well practice exam style questions. I have worked with Edexcel, Aqa and OCR exam boards.
I use an individualist approach, with an aim to make my lessons as practical as possible, allowing the student to think independently for themselves. This has shown to be the most effective in keeping the students engaged.
The old model of memorising answers has shown negative results in the past. Therefore, I focus purely on developing problem solving and critical thinking. As a results not only will it help with your chosen subject but reflect positively across all other aspects of life.
I have passion for teaching, I believe knowledge is power. Being a tutor in the past has not only allowed me to help others by sharing my own knowledge but allowed me to develop as an individual.
I have worked with varies ages and skill levels of students. From beginners to advance. At the moment I mainly work with KS3 students, GCSE and Adults. However, I have worked with younger children too.
