About me:
I am a certified teacher with postgraduate qualifications ( PhD/ MA in Education from Japan and the UK) and hands-on experience in teaching to all levels and ages.

My teaching career spans over 20 years in Japan and the UK. I taught Japanese at a prestigious grammar school in the UK, too. in Japan, I worked at primary schools and high schools as a full time teacher. Also, I was involved in the academic researches that Japanese national research universities and institute conducted for many years.

My Lessons

Articulate and intensive with full of fun elements. I use authentic materials from Japan.
Lessons are personalized around your goals, so you can learn specific skills that you want to focus on. Teaching platform is Zoom or Skype.

The fee varies. On average: £27/hour.

New Conversation Class: £8 /30 mins lesson/ one-to- one online class ( weekday daytime)

For Absolute Beginners
I use my PowerPoint slides I created for standarized exams, such as AB initio/ GCSE, to teach basic grammars, vocabularies, and daily expressions.

After 24 lessons( 1 hour lesson), you will be able to read, speak listen and write basic Japanese. Textbooks and other website's materials are other options. During my lessons, you have plenty opportunities to practice Japanese. you will never be bored!!

For Beginners and Intermediate level
Youtube and Japanese websites can be used to develop your skills.

Proofreading
I write / translate articles for well-known Japanese companies. Proofreading is available.

First Lesson
The lesson is about 20 minutes which is set for getting know each other and learn your Japanese level. The lesson fee varies according to your goal.
