Teaching Format

My lessons typically follow a blended approach, combining lectures, discussions, and interactive activities. In each session, I aim to create a balance between theoretical frameworks and practical applications, making the content accessible and relevant to real-world situations. Most of my modules involve:

-Lectures to introduce key concepts and provide you with the essential knowledge.
-Discussion groups where we dive deeper into case studies or more complex issues.
- Workshops or practical tasks designed to apply what you’ve learned in hands-on or collaborative projects.
- I also integrate group work to encourage peer learning, and sometimes we’ll have guest speakers or professionals from the industry join us for special sessions.

I believe that learning is best when it’s active. So expect a lot of opportunities for questions, debates, and interactions—whether through class discussions or digital platforms.

Content and Dynamics

Depending on the module, you’ll encounter a range of material that goes beyond just reading and lectures. I like to incorporate multimedia content such as videos, podcasts, and even interactive quizzes to keep the learning experience engaging. For example:
- Examples from current events or major academic papers.
-Simulations where you get to role-play or work through scenarios relevant to the subject.
- Group projects that encourage collaboration and problem-solving.
- I also give formative assessments, such as short writing tasks or presentations, to help you continuously improve before any major assignments.

Feedback is essential to me, and I ensure that you get personalised and constructive feedback on your work regularly. This isn’t just about improving your grades but helping you develop critical thinking, writing, and presentation skills that will serve you long after university.

My Experience
I bring both academic expertise and real-world experience into the classroom. Having worked at College and University levels and conducted extensive research in Mathematics I draw on these experiences to provide examples and insights that link theory with practice. I’ve been teaching for 4 years, and one of my core principles is creating a supportive, inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and challenged.

I also take an individualised approach where I’m available for office hours, tutorials, or even informal chats when needed. My goal is not just to teach but to mentor you and support your growth.
