While at school, I have had experience teaching younger students as well as those around my age. Deeply enjoying the rewarding nature of teaching, I decided to explore tutoring as a way of helping more students to achieve their dreams. I believe that a student is not only defined by a grade that they achieve in an exam at the end of each phase of education they pass through, but also by the challenges they experience in learning and retaining this knowledge.

I am a passionate and encouraging tutor who can teach Mathematics, Physics and Design Technology from ages 7-18 years old (pre-GCSE, GCSE and A-Level). I find teaching a way to also learn and develop my knowledge of subjects I enjoy. As a tutor, I encourage active methods of understanding, revising and testing on topic material, and I am a firm believer in long-term learning as a result of active recall.

Each of my lessons will be 1 hour long, and will cover around 30 minutes of learning, 20 minutes of questions/testing and 5-10 minutes of review. This will ensure that all pupils can learn a sufficient amount per session and can also recall and remember this material onwards from this lesson.

(I recently completed my A-levels in 2024 and obtained 5A*, and have also achieved 11A* at GCSE. I was also awarded an Arkwright Engineering Scholarship at the age of 16, and I am also an incoming undergraduate at the University of Cambridge, where I will be reading Physical Natural Sciences.)
