I have taught a variety of ages between 10-45 years old for various reasons. I enjoyed teaching the adult students I've had as much as those at GCSE level and I'm equally proud of each student when I see improvements made in areas we covered weeks prior.

I am currently at university and aim to teach full time so as this is my field of work it is natural I am passionate about helping my students make progress outside just the exam preparations.

I encourage everyone to take lessons with me seriously for their own benefit but I teach in a relaxed manner, without the pressure of a classroom-type environment students tend to absorb more information than if they get given a worksheet or get lectured by someone. I naturally do provide homework but usually it is simply a research task or a small writing task that links to what was discussed in lesson. I see it as an opportunity (especially for GCSE and A-level students) to look at their work in a different light, as something that can be improved upon rather than just "bad" work.
