My name is Julia and I have an interdisciplinary academic background. Notably, I have obtained an undergraduate Law degree (LLB). This course required knowledge of criminal law, constitutional law, EU law, intelligence and the law of evidence amongst others. This education has given me a broad understanding of many facets of the law today as it stands. I believe this expertise places me at an advantage to impart some of this knowledge to prospective university students.
Additionally, in more recent years I have completed a Masters entitled ‘Human Rights: Political Science with Law’. This course was interdisciplinary in nature and covered subjects such as: Philosophy, International Relations, Ethics, Bioethics, Gender Studies and of course, Law. This experience has imbued in me a confidence in tackling a wide range of academic discourse. In addition, this qualification included graded assignments where I was responsible for conducting a seminar and providing students with learning resources.
I believe these aforementioned experiences have given me a unique advantage for the position of tutor in any of these disciplines. I hope to be afforded such an opportunity. My teaching methods are idiosyncratic to the student and my methods are collaborative.
I look forward to hearing from you.
