I tailor my lessons to the needs of each child. My sessions always start by having a conversation with the student to gauge their level and identify the areas they would like to focus on. This can also be done via email or a free online meeting before the lessons start so that we can make maximum use of our session time. I then create a suitable and interactive lesson plan using fun exercises and helpful learning methods. The key to success in language learning is consistency, so it is important that we make the process fun and inspire students to want to learn. Through my degree in BSc Economics and Spanish and a year of study in Spain, I have achieved a high level of Spanish. I use my extensive experience of learning Spanish within the educational framework to provide students with the tools I found most useful. My aim is also to make each student feel as comfortable as possible. Over the years I have learnt that this is extremely important when it comes to language learning as one needs to feel free to make mistakes so that they can learn from them. By providing a safe, fun, and comfortable learning space, I hope to maximise each childs potential so that they look forward to my lessons rather than dread them!
