Julia Kotziamani

I have extensive experience working with students from secondary to degree level and beyond. I also teach broader creativity for companies and organisations.

I am founder of an alt art school (Nimble Art School) which offers accessible courses and programmes for artists. Nimble is non-selective, flexible and teaches artists from all backgrounds and levels, loosely based on a MFA programme.

I have a PGCE teaching qualification, an MFA from Goldsmiths and am starting my PhD in September at the RCA. I have taught art for over a decade and am looking to continue my teaching during my doctorate without needing to take on a full time position.

I regularly lecture, write and teach for others across art writing, practice and theory. I have a particular interest in supporting applications for universities, residencies and portfolio development as well as supporting with essays and research.

I have tight GCSE, A-Level, Foundation, Degree and post-grad learners and am happy to do any of the above for you. Lessons are accessible, fun and designed to deepen your existing work and discover new language and areas for exploration.
