I work from my own PowerPoints on areas of English where you feel you need the most support. We can work through mock exams where I will model answers where needed. We can study Literature texts including poetry and unseen poetry. I can set homework, vocabulary support and provide resources where needed. I have the experience to mark your work and give you beneficial feedback.

For year 5's, I can teach entrance exam techniques for a variety of grammar schools. I am patient and explain things as clearly as I can. If you need maths support, I can provide this up to key stage 4. I believe vocabulary is extremely important. I have a Facebook page (SmartyPants Tuition) and a website. I also have a Quizlet page where I post vocabulary support including subject based terminology.

I have many years' experience of delivering intervention lessons within secondary schools. I am happy to provide flexible support within your schools if you are local to me.

Verbal and Non Verbal reasoning is rarely taught within primary schools. This is needed for 11+ entry exams into grammar schools. I can teach the techniques and provide the practice needed for these special skills.

I am also trained to support students with special educational needs, such as dyslexia or autism.
