Julia in a nutshell
- I have successfully tutored several students in Economics over the last 3 years, ranging from KS3, GCSE, to A level, achieving top final exam and mock exam results
- 45-60 min lessons, covering any aspects my students are struggling with currently at school, teaching new topics to those who (eg.) are resitting a qualification and aren't in education anymore, exam-technique
- use my own revision...

- use my own revision resources from when I took the examinations myself (receiving top grades), as well as finding any relevant resources online.
- I'm more than happy to mark work in-between lessons to save time throughout and only focus on feedback and how to move forward when speaking to the student
- essay writing techniques, essay planning, analysis of mark schemes to tick all the boxes for top bands, separate evaluation and application points (for the higher level exams), MCQs, nailing down all the graphs
- Can set homework / essays / small bits of writing / past papers to do timed that we can go through together
- I'm a student myself and find it easy to establish good relationships with my students, to make it less daunting when they feel like they may be struggling :)

Julia was my tutor during my GCSE studies in Maths, English literature and English language. She tailored her approach to suit my individual learning style, ensuring each session was engaging, informative and productive. She always provided clear explanations, valuable resources, and constructive feedback (both throughout lessons and in any written work she marked), which greatly contributed to my understanding and confidence, and helped me achieve 9s in all 3 subjects in my final exams. She’s very friendly and patient, and made me feel very supported throughout the revision process!

Julia regularly tutored me throughout year 12 and 13, helping boost my grades from A’s to A*’s in both my mocks and real exams. One of her greatest strengths is her clear and concise communication skills, breaking down complex concepts into easily understandable terms. She helped me consolidate my gaps in course content, and she kept me motivated when I struggled, fostering an environment of trust and encouragement. I found it particularly helpful that she recently sat her own public exams, and shared a lot of both her materials and essays written by other students she’s tutored, to help show me examples on how to improve.
