I aim to tailor my tutoring sessions to each student and therefore expect each student to inform me of the topics they would like to cover in advance. I will summarise the legal position for a particular topic as if preparing you to complete a legal brief via IRAC method. I will present the facts and rulings of important cases and draw your attention to relevant legal provisions. As in law tutorials, we may prepare problem questions in advance and briefly discuss them during our tutoring sessions. I will assist in creating revision materials such as quizlets and will help structure revision notes. If given adequate notice, I will proofread the student's law assignments for substance, structure, and formatting.
I understand that asking for assistance can be intimidating. With this in mind, I hope to create an inclusive and welcoming learning experience. As a fellow student, I hope my students will feel comfortable approaching me with any questions or issues relating to their studies.
