Format of my lessons:

If you have homework you need help with I’d explain the concept to help you learn and do the question on your own, getting stuck at any point I’d help.
If we are just working on a specific topic, we’d go through questions finding any problems to focus on and deepen understanding.
Once the lesson would be finished I’d assign some additional homework, focusing on topics and questions I’ve noticed uncertainty.

Content of my lessons:

The content of my lessons would be reinforcing what you’ve learnt at school. When we’d first meet I’d have a look at the content of your course, whether it be A-levels, or any other course. I’d structure the lessons week by week up until the end of year exams or can restructure if an important test is upcoming.
I chose this approach as it’s easier to spot which topics a student is confident on. Allowing us to practice topics which you feel not confident about.

My experience:

I’ve had experience teaching students before, at my school I volunteered as a tutor for primary school students. I did a variety of things from teaching English and maths to teaching the children origami. Additionally, during my final years of high school, I helped tutor middle school students struggling in a variety of subjects.
