Lessons should not be one format for every student. I feel learning is a process different for all and my tutoring aims to reflect this by finding the best method by which each student learns. This could be through a more visual approach, learning topics with reference to graphs and imagery or simply through a more formulaic, question focused lesson.

When learning mathematics in preparation for public examinations, whether GCSEs or A-Levels, it is important to understand the concepts, rather than just learn how to answer the questions, as this always leads to problems later when the concepts build upon each other. Therefore, my focus is on developing a strong understanding of how the ideas in the course really work and ho different topics relate to one another.
