Hello everyone!
I am a native English speaker from England! I am 20 years old and a University student. My hobbies include volunteering, baking and travelling.
I have over two years experience teaching and tutoring and I have an advanced TEFL, as well as experience teaching English as a foreign language practically!
My teaching style is very conversational and we will develop the skills you need through games, stories and discussions about the topics you love. As someone who has been learning languages for a while, I know how scary it can be to practise with a native speaker, but I hope to get rid of those fears! The best way to improve language skills is to put them to use, so I will be emphasising the importance of conversation within sessions, encouraging you to get talking with me from our very first session. I am energetic and love talking too so we will be able to have fun throughout the whole process- our time together will race by as we will be having so much fun!
I also am starting out work as a life coach, especially supporting people in finding the University and supporting applications, and then in adjusting to University life once they are there! I am a final year student who has been through this whole process, and what experience is better than lived experience? I have experience in supporting students through adjustment, specifically from a welfare perspective and would love to be able to put these skills to use and help those who need support! (note: due to less experience in this sector my rates are lower, message me for more information.)
