Language is all about communication. When learning a new language, the feeling you get when another person can understand you is priceless. With this in mind, my lessons are centred around communication. My goal is to instil confidence into my students, to encourage them to express themselves fully. During our first lesson, we will have a conversation to get to know each other better and also so I can assess your strengths and weaknesses. We will also discuss your goals and why you need to improve your English. After our conversation, I will demonstrate a few teaching methods which proved to be successful for my previous students. During our next lessons, I will use a personalised teaching plan to help you improve and teach your goals. At the beginning of each lesson, I usually set aside the first 10 minutes for free conversation. During this time, I encourage my students to use new vocabulary or grammar that we learnt in previous lessons. I also ask many questions to help the students to go more in depth with their answers. I also encourage my students to ask me questions, giving them vital experience for a skill which will be essential in the future. During my teaching career, I have worked for various companies and I also have my own private students.
