I have experience teaching in many different schools such as (Millennium and Greenacres) primary schools and youth clubs including (Woolwich Common and Hawksmoor). In which I taught a variety of ages ranging from early primary to SATs, early secondary, and GCSEs. This various experience has provided me with my own specific methods that I implement with my teaching. My methods include using past paper questions as well as personally made questions to determine the level and areas of weakness for my students. From this I construct lessons resolved around these focus points and provide various methods to change this into a strong point within my students academic journey. The way I do this is by providing other insights and perspectives to allow further understanding for a particular topics. Furthermore I focus on mastery of these weak points, which I ensure that my students obtain. This is done through the constant repetition of specific and tailored practice questions with increasing difficulties to ensure complete understanding. I have implemented these methods within larger classes as well as 1-1 tutoring and have found that this method when done correctly is the most beneficial for learning. During my GCSEs I studied this way and I walked out with a 9 in mathematics due to the effectiveness of this technique. Due to this I can ensure progression and goal reaching for all of my students and I my dedication and passion for teaching further ensures that all my students will receive various benefits. Personal goals as well as academic journeys will see improvements.
