I have almost a year of tutoring and teaching experience, mostly teaching English as a foreign language. I have taught all ages and abilities, including taking classes from their first words right to preparing CVs, and university applications and preparing people for job interviews. I have a degree in History and Spanish from the University of Oxford, which allows me to empathise with students and be able to foresee problems that accompany language learning.

My teaching style is one of fun, enjoyment and interaction. I believe that an interactive class is vital for language learning, as it is often the mistakes we make ourselves that we can learn from rather than being lectured for an hour. I also understand that language learning is not easy, and therefore by adding fun elements to my lessons I can retain engagement and achieve results, sometimes without students realising they are still learning. I am dedicated and devoted to helping people learn another language, as I have seen the benefits it can have in my own life.

My lessons would be delivered online and I would make sure they are tailored to your specific needs, whether it be in a group or private setting. I would conduct these over Zoom, using Google Slides and various textbooks I have collected to aid my lessons, however, I would focus more on making sure my students are listening to and speaking English as much as possible, as I believe this is the best way to learn. I would also be happy to share my powerpoints at the end of each lesson, whilst always being on hand by email for any questions my students may have.
