Lessons will be informal and catered to the needs and interests of individual students. They will have a particular focus on learnng content and context, rather than necessarily focussing on exam technique, and aim to build the students confidence so that they can begin to tackle exam style questions. Stylistically they will be inspired by me expeirence teaching and lecturing at University level, adapted to be appropiate to age and stage.
The exact format of sessions will depend on subject, the age of the student and their individual requirements, and will vary week on week.
I am an experienced youth worker, and am comfortable working with students with a range of SEN (Special Educational Needs) or SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs, and will cater my lessons to the individual strengths of my students.
I have experience teaching online or in-person - although in person lessons will need to be within a reasonable commute of Leeds, and providing individual mentoring or working with small groups.
