I am a Mandarin Chinese tutor with a BA in Chinese Language and Area Studies from Dalian University of Foreign Languages and an MA in Chinese Studies from University of London, School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). I have 4 years experience living, studying and working in China and it is my great pleasure to impart that experience into your linguistic journey. My classes will be tailored to the individual student after identifying specific goals and requirements in Mandarin. Having used the language in both professional and educational settings, I am well aware of the daunting elements of it, but this is not something that should put you off! Mandarin is not only one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, but also brings with it a wealth of history and culture that will open a world of new opportunity for any learner willing to take the challenge.
