I have twelve years experience playing electric guitar and bass in a variety of genres; metal, funk, rock, blues, jazz and more. I mainly play extended range instruments: a six-string bass and a seven-string guitar, so player branching out and adding extra strings to their skillset will be catered for. For more accomplished students, I can craft tailored lesson plans and practice routines to help you develop in a direction that interest and benefits you as well as exposing you to music that you might otherwise overlook.
Additionally, I have a degree in Music Production, so anyone looking for help recording, mixing or mastering their own music is in the right place too! I use Ableton Live 10, however most basic principles can be applied across any DAW.
The most important thing in playing music is having fun- if you aren't enjoying yourself, why bother? Once I've seen you play and have identified areas to work on, I can more effectively help you play the music you want to play, so you can get back to the main event: having fun! On the other hand, if you feel that your playing ability has plateaued and you're struggling to find a way forward, get in touch! Sometimes all you need is another pair of eyes and ears to help you find the way.
