My lessons are very straightforward and engaging. I aim to challenge my students with tasks such as spelling, practicing phonics, using tenses, formal and informal letter writing etc. to assess and evaluate the level of my students’ English. These tasks can range from activities as trivial as ‘fill in the gap,’ to writing a full letter with a given topic of conversation. Through marking these challenges, I can give each student personalised homework tasks to iron out any errors or difficulties they experience, gradually sharpening their English from a speaking, listening and writing standpoint.

I have tutored many students, some with learning difficulties and some who find learning easy. Finding the perfect personalised approach is the most important part of teaching for me. A students who is flying through their work may need more of a challenge, while a student who is struggling with confidence may need more support and comfort from their teacher. Through my experience working with children and adults alike, I always strive to cater to the needs of my student, rather than painting all students with the same teaching brush.

I aim to create a friendly, fun but challenging learning environment, whereby students always feel comfortable enough to make mistakes, ask for help and ultimately better themselves. By making learning less of a chore and more of a challenge, students find it easier to engage and improve if they actually enjoy the lesson content. I can guarantee that my students will enjoy themselves while rapidly improving their skills in the English Language.
