Hello, I am a professional artist offering some tutoring to older students and early career professional artists. I have a specialist knowledge of sculpture and installation art which I am happy to share.

For A'level and B Tech students looking to build a portfolio for foundation applications I will be able to prepare you to build up a diverse and strong portfolio by reviewing your work. I can also offer advice on artists and research areas to expand your practice. With a wide knowledge of art history from the rennaissance through to modernism and contemporary art.

Practically I can advise on techniques and materials within painting, drawing and through to a specialist knowledge of sculpture and ceramics.

I will review your work and listen to your intentions to give technical advice on how you might achieve your ambitions.

Sculpture materials and processes I use in my own work and can offer you technical advice on include clay modelling from life, sculpting clay for firing, mould making, plaster and bronze casting, steel fabrication, wood carving, I also use 3d scanning (I can show you how this is possible with an I phone 12 pro or later) and take files into CAD to then 3d print forms which can in turn be cast from.

Degree and postgraduate level students are welcome to run current projects by me for technical and context feedback. I have wide knowledge of all sculptural materials and will offer tailored advice for your project.

I may also offer professional careers advice to any student or artist looking to expand their practice into permanent public sited work and temporary gallery exhibitions.
