My name is Jorge and I am a musician from Guatemala who is passionate about self discovery through music. Lately, this has brought me to share the knowledge gained from musical experiences in my life, all of them very diverse and nourishing.

In my life, I began listening music as a child at home, then studying piano basics at the national conservatory, learning guitar at church when I was 12. I was also part of a rock band at school as a teenager, playing the bass guitar and singing.

Later, I spent time learning music theory, harmony and jazz basics at the university and private academies, and the lst years of my life, I have been singing/songwriting and producing my own music, teaching guitar and facilitating music workshops for small groups.

All of these experiences, plus the fact that music has many benefits for our lives, both individually and socially, has made me consider structuring a way to share knowledge and activities that can strengthen the mind-body connection to apply it when playing.

I am now promoting a learning guide that I created in the form of a coloring book that can help people learn the basics of guitar playing while exploring their own creativity.

I believe it is important to create a good relationship with the person who learns. To know that music opens multiple possibilities and that I want to treat that energy with care as it has been for my own path.
