I am a documentary photographer with over 20 years of experience and have worked for different newspapers. My photography approach focuses towards the intersection of art, social sciences, and documentary and conceptual photography, exploring social, critical and reflective perspectives. 

I am a guest lecturer, conducting workshops and giving talks at several universities such as The George Washington and Marywood in the United States and Norwich, Solent, Bournemouth and Plymouth in the UK. I tutor both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students 


I have published a photobook which has been recognized in various international competitions and reviewed in media such as ’The Guardian and ‘Washington Post’ and published by Magnum Photographer Alec Soth in ‘My Little Brown Mushroom’. 

I have a master's degree in History of Art with Photography from Birkbeck University and a Photojournalism postgraduate from the University of Barcelona.


I am a friendly tutor always happy to explain anything you got questions about in a simple manner for both amateur and photography students. In my lessons, I engage with the students in a more horizontal, and less hierarchical way, as anyone can be lost at the early stages of the creative journey.
My methodology, focused in show the procees of my works among the resoults is the reason why several universities have invited me as a guest lecturer.
