Jordan Masters

I am a British citizen who has lived in England my whole life. I studied English literature and language at school. On top of this I often indulge myself in reading and occasionally writing as a hobby. I would love to share my knowledge and expertise with those wanting to learn English as a foreign language. I will teach students about sentence structure, spelling, punctuation, phrases, pronunciation and differentiating verbs, adverbs and nouns. I will engage in conversation with my student(s) in order to put their learning into practise. I can also set homework for those who would like it. My goal is to help my students to develop their English language skills as much as possible.

I have extensive experience of working with foreign students and teaching them as well as travelling, this has given me deep insight into what students studying the English language are after and how i can get the bery best out of them.

An important element of my teaching is the humour and fun I bring, as.i.belive this to be conducive of a comfortable, productive and progressive learning and teaching environment. Having said this I will also push and test my students to really encourage independent thinking, reasoning and decision making and to enable them to develop as quickly and as much as possible in the time frame I have with them.

I am able to cover a range of teaching objectives and strive for various outcomes that I can either suggest or the student can do so.
