Hello! My name is Jordan and I am qualified at level 3 within Health and social care and Anatomy and Physiology. My lessons vary depending on the individual to suit their needs best and their way of learning. An example of how my lessons will be set out for the majority of individuals (unless other provisions are to be put in place) is:
Lesson 1: I will begin by discussing with the student what level of study theyre at, and their undedstanding of health and social care and what it means to them, and what they hope to achieve in the future. We will then set goals to work towards. This lesson will commence with an introduction to Health and Social care and Anatomy and Physiology. We will look at various different components within health and social care and gain an overview understanding of these. We will also study the human body and the functions and systems within, and how this relates to health and social care studies.
Lesson 2: We will pick a component of health and social care, and study this in more depth. At the end of this lesson we will do a quiz to see how much is remembered, and if any questions were answered incorrectly we will go over these. This is just to ensure that the individual is taking in information to ensure they achieve the best possible level of education.
Lesson 3: We are going to pick another component of health and social care and anatomy and physiology to look at and study this. However, alongside this we will be reading over a case study of an adult who may of been failed by the healthcare system, and look at what could of been done to improve this situation within this case study. I will be asking questions to the student to gain an understanding of what they think couldve been done to help this service user in the case study. Then we will work together to study some important points of what could of been done and how to do them, and the importance of these steps. Again, we will do a questionnaire at the end of the lesson.
Each lesson will become gradually challenging and vary. Every lesson will be different as we discuss different components within health and social care studies and Anatomy and physiology. We will also look at different case studies, examples of bodily organs and what their functions are and the importance of competent steps taken within your future role, and what those steps could do in a failed healthcare situation.
There will be however many lessons you need and will always differ from the last session. That is just 3 lesson examples, they may not be the same, but will deliver exceptional knowledge and study material. Thankyou very much for reading and I hope to tutor some of you who are interested in working with adults, children, vulnerable individuals, or something else, soon!
