Lessons are provided in several different formats. Presentations with a voiceover are provided to develop understanding of punctuation and grammar while also building conversations between Tutor and Student.

Review of English literature books and different formats of English texts are reviewed with the Tutor, who assists the student understanding the type of writing taking place, and the purpose of the writing.

Language and comprehension lessons involved the Tutor holding different types and formats of conversations with the student, with the aim of assisting the student to develop an advanced and complex vocabulary over the time spent with the Tutor. The English Speaking classes may involve developed and structured types of conversation, or they may instead simply be a natural conversation with the tutor that develops into more technical types of vocabulary.

The lessons are aimed towards being fun and interesting. Everyone remembers the moments that they had fun rather than the moments where they were just reading and writing for hours on end.

I have spent 7 years of my life in the United States achieving several bachelors degrees and a Mater’s Degree. I hold a great understanding of the different cultures and ways of life, and enjoy working with people from different backgrounds! After studying for such a significant amount of time abroad, I have learnt that learning doesn’t have to be through the typical school-type structure, but can instead studying can be based on an interesting experience where the Tutor focusses most on the Student’s needs and daily wellbeing.
