I am an internationally published, multi-award-winning photographer who is passionate about teaching others how to take better photos.

Based in North Cornwall, I give engaging online lessons that are bespoke to you and your level. I have a Master's Degree in photography and have since lectured internationally and across the UK, including Kings College London and Leeds University, amongst others.

Professionally, I work with some of the biggest global publications such as National Geographic and make films for terrestrial TV channels such as CH4. I have worked extensively in remote and hostile environments such as deserts, jungles, and the Arctic. I can teach you technically how a camera works and how it records light (both on digital cameras and analogue), but past that, I can teach you how to tell a story with your images, how to pitch them to publications, and tricks and tips on how to ensure your success while shooting a commission!

Above all, I make learning photography simple and fun. I believe we learn best by doing, this means you will learn with a camera in your hands and I guarantee you will take home a new skill you can implement after each session. I also set homework for all of my students (who want it!), so that you absolutely learn. Simply put, if you want to learn photography, you've come to the right place! :)
