I will provide starting exercises to gauge your understanding and technical skill with the topic at hand, and ask you to walk me through how you go about solving them. Depending on what you ask for, these exercises will range from literacy with the basic concepts at play to unintuitive or esoteric applications of the material.
depending on the level of understanding you display, I will provide you with either further applications and implications of the material at hand or an in-depth explaination of the techniques and principals at play. I will often ask you to explain to me your understanding of how or why a topic works, and what its applications are both in the real world and in other fields.

I am experienced with well- and poorly- behaved students, and high- and low- achieving students alike. I am equally confident in my ability to bring out their academic best and allow them to excel in whatever they choose to do with what i teach. I cannot teach a student who refuses to learn, but i am skilled in arranging and rearranging lessons to accomodate for the easily bored or poorly attentive student.

I personally find each of the subjects i teach genuinely fascinating and marvelous, and i like to bring that fascination and enthusiasm to the online classroom and try to share it with my students. In my time tutoring, none of my tutees have left my perview uninterested in the material i teach, and i expect none will.
