Jonathan Owen

I am a TESL-qualified English teacher with over 7 years' experience teaching ESL and a background in academia and writing. Originally from the UK but now based in Toronto, Canada, I am a native English speaker who can teach both British and North American English.

My lessons are based entirely on your individual learning needs. If you are looking for improvement of your accuracy and knowledge in matters of grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, etc, I can offer highly structured lessons with focused exercises. If you wish to practice your speaking fluency in English and be able to talk more freely and confidently, I can also offer conversation-based classes.

I can help too if you wish to practise a specific skill, such as reading or writing.
