Jonathan Moore Moore

I have 8 years of tutoring experience, teaching English as a foreign language. I have offered lessons both in person and online, to a wide variety of age groups. I can offer conversational practice with a native speaker, which I feel is a great way to learn a new language. On top of this, I can also offer help with grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. I have also assisted my students in the past with IELTS preparation, as well as speaking, writing, reading and listening practice. I do like to keep my lessons relaxed, as I understand that each student will learn at a different pace and have different needs. I am used to with students that have very varied grasps on the English language and I always take this in to account. I believe that the lessons should be a fun environment, whilst ensuring that progress is always made. I personally speak with a Southern English accent, having grown up on the Isle of Wight, which is a small island off of the south coast of England. I also spent many years living and working in London, as well as in Moscow, Russian Federation. This was also where my tutoring journey began, offering private lessons to families and individuals. I have worked with a wife range of students and have always adapted the lessons to suit their personal abilities. On a personal level, I enjoy travelling and electronic music. I host a weekly livestream with a fellow DJ, as well as hosting occasional live events. I have been interested in this since around the age of 13.
