In an average session, we will start by briefly discussing the motivation the concept or theory in question, and its application, which is in the format of a discussion where I will be trying to convince you that what you are learning indeed is useful and "makes sense". The remainder of the time will be spent on application by looking at examples of typical use cases, basically solving problems.

For Maths and Physics IAs, I can do a written session where I will annotate your work and send it back to you, after we have a brief free meeting during which you explain what you are trying to achieve. However, the more beneficial option, in my opinion, is a normal session, as the format of discussion will allow the final work to better reflect your thought process, skills and interests.
