Hi I'm Jon.

I've been working as a event and portrait photographer for over 10 years and as a videographer for the last 5 years. I've covered weddings, film premieres, live music events, and conferences as well as worked with brand clients in and out of the studio as a portrait photographer. At the heart of it all I love imagery. I've trained a number of photographers across the years on and off the job.

Theory is great but nothing beats practical experience! I'll run through the technical side of photography to increase your understanding, then set tasks so you can get out and shoot, cementing what you've learnt.

-Shutter speed, aperture and iso
-Colour theory and white balance
-Focal lengths and lenses
-Composition
-Lighting (Natural light, flash lighting and continuous lighting)
-Basics of Adobe Lightroom
-Basics of Adobe Photoshop
