My teaching includes drawing many diagrams to help illustrate different biological process. I find these help students remember the content they learnt and are useful for exams too!At the start of a lesson we will go through what you know about the topic, just so I know what I need to teach. This will be followed by me delivering the content, anytime you feel you don’t understand, I can always go back. It’s your lesson so we can go at your learning pace. Don’t worry we will get the chance to go through some practise questions for each topic and break them down so you know and feel confident answering them independently and in an exam. I have experience as a SEN teaching assistant and as a short term tutor. My goals with my students have always been to make them feel confident in independently answering questions and solidifying their topic knowledge. I as a biomedical science student understand what it’s like to be a student and the stressful process of preparing for an exam. That’s why I also give exam preparation tips that have worked for me.
