About me

My French lessons are fun, focused, and fully tailored to each student. I combine structured grammar and vocabulary work with interactive games, conversation practice, and real-life scenarios to keep things dynamic and engaging. Whether it’s building confidence, preparing for exams like GCSEs, or simply improving fluency, I adapt to each student’s needs and learning style.

I’ve worked with children and teenagers (ages 7–16) for several years and love making French feel approachable and enjoyable. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. Lessons are usually 1:1 online, using a mix of resources - slides, exercises, video, and conversation practice - with clear goals, regular feedback, and plenty of encouragement.

Students I’ve worked with have seen real, measurable progress - better results at school, more confidence when speaking, and a genuine interest in the language. I’m currently studying at Durham University, one of the UK’s top universities for languages, and I’ve spent a year abroad, including 6 months working in Paris. That experience has shaped my cultural understanding and allows me to share authentic French expressions, accents, and everyday language in lessons.

Whether your child needs structured support or wants to deepen their love for languages, I’m here to help make it happen!
