I am a graduate of Biochemistr, with two masters degrees in Nutrition and Food Science and Nutrition and Exercise Science respectively. I have worked as a lecturer at university level for six years and within this time, I have co-authored several papers, all of which have been published in reputable academic journals. I have also attended several academic conferences, where most of the papers that I have co-authored have be presented.

I have taught and tutored secondary and university level students subjects such as biology, adolescent reproductive health and HIV/AIDS, basic medical science subjects (including biochemistry, nutrition and dietetics) and related subjects. I have also worked as a science technician at secondary school level, where I have assisted teachers with seting up equipment needed to support science practical sessions in biology, chemistry and physics.

My students admire me for my patience and teaching philosophy that incoporates teaching methods such as differentiation, inquiry-based learning, personalised learning, technology integration, peer teaching and formative assessment, My students find these teaching methods to be very exciting as they believe that it places them at the center of the learning process. The teaching methods that I have adopted over the years have enhaced student engagement, caters for the diverse needs of students, and ultimately improved student retention and not just imparting knowledge.
