John Glynn

I am a professional photographer, having worked in London and Edinburgh, for companies and magazines, and public bodies. I have a degree in photography from Napier University, Edinburgh, and a postgraduate teaching qualification from Stirling University.
My teaching style is relaxed, friendly and supportive. I work to the students learning speed and discuss learning outcomes, ie. what is the student wanting from the lesson(s)?
I have been teaching through the Edinburgh Adult Education programme for the past twenty-two years, and still am. I teach face to face, and online, having taught photography and Photoshop Elements.
If learning online I would use Zoom and teach class would last somewhere around 1hr. Exact times, length of session and number of sessions would be through discussion with the student.
I am happy to discuss with students what they happen to achieve through the sessions and specific areas to cover. I can teach photography from basic to advanced.
I am happy to give feedback on images already taken and discuss lighting, composition and technical issues.
