I will do my very best to bring the pupil up to my level of interest and knowledge in Spanish and French, if required, through a variety of teaching methods. I have all the teaching materials to hand, in addition to suggestions for reading which will encourage an interest in the language and literature of the target Language. I have spent a great deal of time studying the literature and language of French and Spanish and will be able to offer advice and guidance on the learning of vocabulary and translation and also the critical study of texts which is indispensable for anyone thinking of studying at university for example.
I will do my best to bring the student up to a level of conversational confidence and ability, while keeping the process fun for the learner; I have a good knowledge of the idioms and grammar of both French and Spanish and will be able to encourage a desire to acquire the same in my pupil(s).
Over a period of years I have developed an enthusiasm for, and appreciation of the literature of both of these languages (both old and new authors) and hope to be able to share that interest with my pupils.
