I trained as a Secondary School teacher in Rural Science, Biology and Maths. I taught for 13 years in 2 schools as Head of Department and House Master. I left teaching in 1975 to work with a German Company bringing teenagers to the UK to stay in an English family and learn English. This involved me in a lot of travelling around the UK and also in Germany, Italy and Spain where I held meetings with teachers of English to present our English School. After 25 years I decided to change direction again and started a printing Company which I profitably sold 4 years later then I started 2 specialist Companies in the building industry. Both companies were eventually sold profitably and now I've moved on but teaching is in my blood. So, as well as my science subjects I'm able to off strong elements of Computer Science covering accounting, spreadsheets, databases and simple programming, not forgetting my travel and my English Language skills.
