My lessons are very dynamic and
always encourage students interaction individually,with each other and in teams,this way they can intervene more assertively and confidently in class.In terms of writing I emphasise on the vocabulary and grammar utilized in the present and past forms giving them plenty of examples making sure they understand what they write so that the verbs,nouns,adjectives and pronouns are used appropriately in every sentence..When it comes to reading I encourage them to pick a topic of their choice to read in class as well as any book of their choice at home in their spare time in order to improve their reading skills as it were.I also encourage audio so the students can listen to the correct pronunciation of the words played on the topic in question. I also make sure the students know how to differentiate the use of the present and past tense forms appropriately.When it comes to reading I encourage them to pronounce slowly and clearly the words used for their comprehension .Also I like to leave homework after every lesson so that they can go over the topics they have learnt in the classroom . My experience shows me that although some students are shy ,constant interaction in class will give them more confidence along their learning process .I also encourage role plays in my lessons,for example one student would play the role of an English tourist in Madrid ordering a meal in a restaurant in Spanish while the other student would be the waiter taking the order and after they would switch roles .
