I am an experienced university lecturer with a demonstrated history of teaching physical, organic and inorganic chemistry courses (organic chemistry, laboratory
methods and techniques for environmental health, radiation chemistry, analytical chemistry,
environmental chemistry, physical chemistry I and II. radiation chemistry, comparative study of S&P block elements, unit operations I & II, plant operations and industrial management, chemical
processes and equipment design). I was also tasked with preparing laboratory manuals and supervising chemistry experiment sessions and invigilating exams. Grading exams, assignments and continuous assessment tests and moderating other departmental examinations; Undertaking research in chemistry, and environmental health.

I have a strong education background with a Master of Science - MS focused on Materials Science and Engineering and I am undertaking doctoral research in materials chemistry. My current research interests encompass; the development of novel nanomaterials to enhance
the energy density and cycle stability of Li-ion cathodes; design of bio-nano sensors for the detection of cancer biomarkers using 2D metals and composites.
