My lessons are fully prepared with slides, exam style questions, real life applications of what we have learnt, starter questions, homework, diagrams for visual representation of the topics. dependent of what topic you want covered or the syllabus you want to go through i prepare the slides in advance, due to teaching for 4 years I have many different slides prepared depending on the cam board with I modify based on the student therefore slides are also personalised to enhance students learning. Questions are welcome any time throughout learning. If something is not understood I always go over it so the student fully understands before moving on to the next topic. For those that opt for online, my online tutoring l is very interactive and has the atmosphere of in person as my teaching is very focused. Zoom, teams or Skype which ever the student is most comfortable utilising is the platform I use for online tutoring and share my screen in order for students to see the slides I have prepared. When I give homework I mark it and give feedback on exams skills primarily such as did yo understand what the question was asking from you etc. exam skill understanding is an important focus in all my lessons. You can have the knowledge but if you don’t apply it properly you will see some hindrance hence why I really make sure that all students have as much exam skills practice in my lessons before their assessments and exams.
