About me

I’m a geography teacher of 26 years experience 17 of those in Australia. Have taught students from 11-18 yrs old.
I have travelled to all 7 continents and like to use my travels and visuals as much as possible in my teaching.
In Australia I won a national teaching award for unsung hero and my class in 2016 were in the top 10% of Geography classes in Western Australia.
Since returning to the UK...

Since returning to the UK in 2018 i have worked for various revision companies, and taught A level in a nearby college.
I’m now not working in a school so am available most days to help tutor students.

Without a doubt one of my favourite teachers! I can’t think of any fellow students who’ve have a bad word to say about Mossy. Joel makes lessons fun and interesting, he’s thoroughly passionate about Geography and it shows. 10/10 recommend him if you want to ace Geography and enjoy learning the subject matter. P.S. He’s a top bloke too.
