Lessons with me are tailored to you language learning goals! Whether you are aiming to use English for tourism, business, studies or just as an interest!

I believe that learning is best facilitated when the student is doing something that they find interesting or worthwhile, therefore my lessons are completely based around the practical application of English to my students interests.

I also find that every student learns differently and has their own preferences! If you prefer grammar exercises and controlled learning, then lessons can follow this kind of format. However, if you prefer a more dynamic and interactive approach to learning, I can also adapt my lessons accordingly.

From my perspective, the purpose of language learning is communication, therefore I like for there to be a focus on communicating.

Mistakes are welcome in my class! That’s how we learn and recognise our weaknesses!

Progress can take time, be kind to yourself! It took you years to perfect your native language, don’t expect fluency to come immediately. Remember, language learning takes time and effort!


My experience:
In my classes I draw from a wealth of experience, whether that is academic, cultural or professional.
Academically speaking, I have studied 3x languages to a high level and can share my knowledge and tricks with you to help you master the English language.
In terms of culture, I’m a native Brit who has lived across the UK, Spain and Italy - this helps me to connect with my students from diverse linguistic backgrounds and allows me to discuss a great variety of topics in my classes.
Finally, my professional experience as a teacher consists mostly of freelance lessons given to Spanish and Italian natives whilst living abroad, where I studied both the acquisition and teaching of English as a foreign language.
