As a relatively young scholar, I understand what it takes to engage a student. Fortunately, for me I have been taught by passionate individuals from secondary school all the way through to my time at the University of Liverpool.

History has the power to transport us to different eras, immerse them in intriguing narratives, and foster a deeper understanding of the world. However, to truly engage students in the study of history, I employ creative and interactive strategies that bring the past to life. By incorporating the following approaches, I will help inspire a genuine love for history.

Furthermore, I will also engage students actively by incorporating hands-on activities into the history curriculum. Conduct historical simulations, reenactments, or debates that encourage students to assume roles and make decisions based on the context of the time period.

Primary Source Analysis:
Develop students' historical thinking skills by incorporating primary source analysis. Provide authentic historical documents, artifacts, or photographs and guide students in examining and interpreting them. Encourage critical questioning, analysis of bias, and multiple perspectives. Engage students in discussions and debates based on their interpretations, fostering a deeper understanding of historical context and the complexities of the past.

Additionally, I aim to encourage students to explore how history shapes societies, cultures, and global relations today. Incorporate discussions on social justice, human rights, and civic responsibility to foster an understanding of historical legacies and their significance in modern society.

In conclusion, I will make the study of history an enjoyable and exciting experience that will benefit you academically.
