I am a postgraduate researcher at the University of Manchester and graduated with a distinction level Masters degree from the University of Leeds. I am an enthusiastic tutor with experience teaching Computer Science and Programming up to university level and Maths up to A-Level. My approach focusses on inspiring students into pursuing individual learning and projects as a part of their learning, as well as putting abstract foundational concepts into context of their application in higher level problems or the real world. I believe being able to solve a question, rather than remember a formulaic answer is the key to success in examinations. Joe is also qualified in teaching English as a foreign language, and has experience tutoring those for whom English is not a first language.
