Whether online or in person, we will cover what you already know and what you are aiming for in your topic. I much prefer to have a informal lesson structure with students, though it would be much more structured for younger students to ensure we get the topics covered that are required.

I very much agree with the point that teaching helps you learn the topic, so while I'll be teaching the topic at hand, I'd encourage further reading. A recap at the start of each session from you to see what you have remembered/learned from the previous session will allow me to see the cracks in knowledge and steer the session to cover those points again.
Depending on your knowledge of Excel at the start of the lessons, we can cover the basics of Excel, and then steer the lessons in a direction that works best for you, whether that means more visual aids, reading, or whatever may aid you in the learning process. Depending on you age as the student, I can also send you reading material from links to websites, videos, and papers to help you develop your knowledge of the topics.
I also have a keen interest in art so incorporating more visual aids into the lessons is something I am more than happy to provide, as a more visual learner myself, I can understand how the medium in which the information is provided to you can make all the difference in your learning experience.
I hope to work with you in the future.
