Hello there! I am a native English speaker from the United Kingdom. I have spent and still spend a lot of time in France where my family live, where I'm also able to maintain my understanding of the French language, in which I am now fluent. I can offer to teach either English as a foreign language, or French lessons for English speakes. I have always been a keen language learner and I'm often looking to widen my knowledge of foreign languages by self-teaching Spanish and German on the side. My reason for learning other languages starts off as a hobby, similar to learning a new skill. It also enables me to converse and communicate when I travel, which opens up many opportunities such as friendships and connections. My aim is to use my knowledge to give you the tools to unlock new possibilities for your future. However, I understand that your aim might be slightly different, and will tailor my sessions based on your goals and of course, your current level, which would need to be decided in the first session. For example, your goals will be based on your needs, from simply needing help passing exams or help with homework, to wanting to move to a different country. I usually start with a commitment-free video call just so you can get to know me first. From there, the basis of my sessions is to converse as much as possible in the target language and to learn about realistic topics. Learning vocabulary first will give you the foundations to a free-flowing conversation.
