My lessons are deeply tailored to the students personals music tastes. I believe when learning music you should play what you love and love what you play.

Lesson 1 is all about creating a portfolio of pieces which we'll use to make a road map for you personal development. Lots of students have specific genres or songs which they would like to learn and some students don't and that's fine. The goal of the first lesson is to map out your musical footprint and will involve a lot of listening and discussion of the music you love and the techniques your favourite artists use to make the music you love sound awesome.

From there I create custom high quality audio tracks at various speeds for your personal practice. These will include visual resources where possible (usually tablature transcriptions) and practice notes so that you can make the most of your practice time outside of lessons

I plug directly into Zoom via Native Instruments Guitar Rig 6 which I route directly through Logic Pro X and into zoom, I also use a Rhode NT1A condenser microphone as my zoom talk back micx to ensure that you get nothing but the best quality audio experience and no distracting ambient noise from the room.
