The first lesson will be to introduce myself, to get to know you and your desired outcomes for the sessions – for free. I teach Maths and Spanish from beginners/primary level up to and including A-level.

From working as a swimming teacher and tutoring many others before, I know how to direct and structure a lesson, how to read and work with pupils and how to adapt to any issue that may arise.

Additionally, from being a swimming teacher and volunteering with refugees, I have worked with many children (and adults) with SEND, language barriers and many other situations that require additional support.

My approach is to get each student enthusiastic about whatever we are learning and to make sure to push them to be the best that they can. Whilst I will work very hard for each student (of course!), my aim is to get them to be much more active in lessons and to become independent thinkers.

Lessons will take place online (via whichever platform is easiest for you – Zoom/Teams/FaceTime) and will usually last an hour.
